AI Cat Picture Generator
Sometimes you do not have a photo, or the photo you have is not the picture you want. This tool generates a cat image from words alone: a galaxy cat, a layered paper-cut illustration, a studio portrait or anything you can describe.
It runs on Google Nano Banana 2 with ByteDance Seedream 4 as a fallback. One image costs one credit, returns at 2K and carries no watermark. There is no upload step, so it is the fastest way to test a visual idea.

Generated images are AI-made. Do not present them as photographs of a real event, and only upload photos you have the right to use.
What text-to-image is good at
Text-to-image is best when the subject is a style or a mood rather than a specific animal. A galaxy cat, a paper-cut illustration, a poster with a cat silhouette — these are hard to photograph and easy to describe.
It is weaker at preserving a particular cat's identity. If the point of the image is your cat, use one of the photo tools instead; they anchor the face and markings to a reference image. If the point is a striking cat image, text-to-image gives you more range.
A useful hybrid: generate a background or a style you like, then use it as a reference for a photo edit. The two tools share the same credit balance.
How to describe a cat picture
Start with the subject and the medium, then add one lighting decision. "A cat sitting in a window, layered paper-cut illustration, warm afternoon light" gives the model three concrete anchors. Five adjectives about mood give it less to work with.
Name the palette if colour matters: "violet, teal and gold" is more useful than "colourful". Name the crop if the image is going into a layout: square for a feed, vertical for a phone, wide for a banner.
Leave text out of the prompt. Image models render letters poorly, and a garbled word ruins an otherwise good picture. Add text in an editor.
The three starter styles
Galaxy cat is the most graphic: a cat's face built from swirling galaxies and aurora light. It works as a wallpaper, a cover and a poster.
Paper cut is the most tactile: layers of cream, terracotta and sage paper with soft drop shadows. It suits a nursery print or a greeting card.
Studio portrait is the most photographic: a charcoal backdrop, one softbox and crisp fur detail. Use it when you need a clean image that could pass for a photo.
Credits, formats and rights
Each image costs 1 credit; a 10-credit pack is $9.90. Failed renders are refunded automatically. Output is a 2K JPEG with no watermark, normally in 20–40 seconds.
1:1 is the default for a feed or an avatar, 9:16 for a phone wallpaper, 16:9 for a desktop or a video thumbnail. You can use the image in your own projects under the site terms; do not present it as a photograph of a real animal, and do not generate a living artist's signature style or a trademarked character.
Questions people ask first
Do I need to upload a photo?
No. This tool is text-to-image only. If you want your own cat in the picture, use a photo tool such as the knight cat image generator.
Can I generate a picture of my own cat from a description?
You can describe the cat, but the result will not preserve its exact markings. For a faithful likeness, upload a photo instead.
What resolution do I get?
A 2K JPEG. The default is 1:1; 9:16 and 16:9 are also available.
Can I sell the image?
You can use it in your own projects under the site terms, but do not present it as a photograph or reproduce a living artist's style or a trademarked character.
How much does it cost?
1 credit per image. Packs start at $9.90 for 10 credits, and failed renders are refunded.
